Who we are

Pierre-Alain Bardellini successfully leased private apartments to travellers via Zurich Tourism in the 1980s. When he and Werner Kopp founded PABS Résidences + Appartements AG in 1990, it was the first pioneer in the segment and was met with considerable interest. The apartment market was not as overheated back then as it is now and PABS was able to acquire a basic portfolio of attractive and centrally located apartments in Zurich relatively quickly.

From the early beginnings to this day, customers who wish to reside in Zurich for a certain amount of time for business or private reasons and prefer the comforts of a private apartment over the more impersonal atmosphere of a hotel benefit from the company's services.

Contrary to widespread belief, not all PABS customers are business travellers. The company's broad customer base has included students, researchers, diplomats and even entire families who do not want to forgo the amenities of an apartment while their home is being renovated. The most out-of-the-ordinary customer of PABS was an Italian manufacturer who couldn't bear the thought of facing an operation in Zurich without his dear grandmother staying nearby.

Today, PABS has a workforce of 15 committed employees who work hard to ensure the satisfaction of their customers day after day.
